The checkbox and swipe gestures work together to make managing your list fast and natural, whether you’re signalling intent, setting focus, creating a reminder, or crossing something off.
You’re given all the tools to be productive every day. Be chased into action with alarms, or gently nudged with notifications. With an always-on count in the status bar and an interactive home screen widget, everything works together so you can get things done without even opening the app.
A control centre to set up your alerts, and see what is overdue as well as coming up.
Plans change. No problem. Tap a chip in the Command Bar to quickly move reminders out of today, or pull them in from tomorrow, this week, or later.
Add reminders the way you’d normally write them. Include a due date like “next week”, “this weekend”, or a specific date, and ruff works out when it’s for. Add a time like “at 5pm” or “in 3 hours” to set an alarm.
Plan loosely. No need to lock in an exact time. A rough idea is enough — ruff handles the timing, with the Command Bar highlighting when something is around the corner.
Set things to repeat throughout the day at intervals that suit you. You can even specify the hours, like 9–5, or the days, such as weekdays only.
Repeats can be ongoing, have an end date, or — more uniquely — stop after a specific number of times.
Create reminders that trigger as you pass by a location. You’re in control of how they trigger, from radius to times and days. For example, you can be reminded when you’re near a location on your way home from work, only on weekdays.
There’s inline entry on your list, so you can quickly add items with a reminder. For more detail, such as adding recurrence or location, tap [+] in the Command Bar to open Advanced Entry.
When a task is in progress, tap its checkbox to set a timer and stay locked in until it is done.
ruff Reminders is fully independent and funded entirely by users. No ads, no data collection, just subscriptions.
